Inspired by the classic beach clubs of Hawaii, Mauna Lani Beach Club is the soul of the resort. It is an all-day venue for casual food, drinks, music and games with a stretch of white sand beach ideal for a lazy afternoon. The Surf Shack is its focal point, acting as the MLBC clubhouse and home for our best in class Kainalu Watersports Team and transforms in the afternoons as the place to pull up a beach chair, watch the sunset and talk story. MLBC and the Kainalu Team passionately bring the water experience to our guests, through knowledge, respect and love of the ocean. From the Great Lawn and the deck of the Surf Shack, take a sunrise paddle and encounter whales and dolphins as the sun rises above Mauna Kea.
