Founded in 1996 by Leslie Rudd, Rudd Estate is a multigenerational winery handcrafting small production wines that reflect the ultimate expression of its world-class terroir by respecting the traditions of the past, challenging the present and imagining future possibilities. Over the course of nearly three decades, the team at Rudd Estate has become intimately familiar with the geologic nuances that make its terroir unique: iconic red volcanic soils, the alluvial fan and subterranean stream beds. Vineyards located in Napa Valley’s most celebrated Oakville appellation produce the Estate Red and Samantha’s Cabernet Sauvignon, and vineyards located on Mt. Veeder at a 1500-foot elevation produce the Sauvignon Blanc, Susan’s Blanc and Leslie’s Blend. Samantha Rudd took the helm of Rudd Estate in 2018 and has championed organic and biodynamic farming practices with the support of the winegrowing and vineyard team. Committed to creating an environment where hard work, creativity, innovation and craftsmanship are valued, she instituted an Unlikely Collaborators Residency Program in 2016.

Nestled along the far western reaches of California’s Sonoma Coast, Flowers Vineyards & Winery has been cultivating Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for over 30 years. Perched on steep, densely forested ridges overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Flowers estate vineyards – Camp Meeting Ridge and Sea View Ridge – produce wines that reflect a true sense of place, with pure, vibrant coastal character. Helmed by longtime winemaker Chantal Forthun, the estate continues to craft highly limited Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from these original estate vineyards, alongside signature wines from the Sonoma Coast. The winery’s House of Flowers, opened in 2019 in Healdsburg, California, embodies the spirit of creativity, hosting artist and chef residencies, garden-forward programming and community events.

Quintessa is an organic and biodynamic estate set amidst natural vegetation and ancient oaks in Rutherford, Napa Valley. Guided by a belief that the highest farming standards deliver the world’s finest wines, the property has been cared for according to organic principles since its planting in 1989 and with biodynamic practices since 1996. Quintessa’s 280 acres reflect a diversity of geology, exposures and microclimates – the distinct qualities that inspired founders Agustin and Valeria Huneeus in their vision for an estate in balance. Bordered by the Vaca Mountains and the Napa River, undulating hillside vines are interwoven with biodiversity corridors, all converging at the estate’s center: Dragon’s Lake. Honoring the tradition of revered wine estates around the world, Quintessa crafts one distinctive wine each year. Every vintage is a singular red blend offering a transparent, energetic and holistic expression of the property.
