Book seven or more nights across our properties, including a stay at one of our Auberge Safari Serengeti camps (Songa, Nyasi or Mila) and a two-night stay at any one of our Chem Chem properties, Mwiba Lodge or Mwiba Plains, and enjoy a complimentary 60-minute helicopter excursion, complete with a scenic picnic.

Which helicopter will be used for the guest flights?
A turbine-powered Airbus Helicopter AS350 B3 / H125.
Who operates the helicopter?
The helicopter is operated by Level Up Aviation Limited, a certified Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority operator. Level Up is responsible for aviation operations, TCAA compliance and safety management.
Is Level Up authorised to operate commercial passenger flights?
Level Up Aviation Limited holds Tanzanian Civil Aviation certifications and approvals and is authorized to conduct commercial air transport operations.

The aircraft is maintained under an approved Airbus maintenance program and undergoes mandatory inspections and air-worthiness controls.
What is the passenger capacity?
The aircraft is configured for one pilot and up to five passenger seats. For safari operations with luggage, operational loading is assessed before each flight. For guest flights with luggage, the practical limit is generally:

• Up to four adult passengers with luggage of 15 kg per person, or
• Two adults and three children, where a child is treated as someone weighing less than 40 kg
What luggage restrictions apply?
Guests should travel with soft bags only. The standard baggage allowance is one soft bag per passenger, with a maximum weight of 15 kg. For excursions and day trips, photographic equipment and backpacks are most welcome.
Pilots and their experience?
Flights are operated by fully licensed and medically cleared pilots by Level Up Aviation Limited and licensed by TCAA.
Are the pilots familiar with the safari routes and landing areas?
Level Up pilots are familiar with the relevant safari operating environment, including Burunge Wildlife Management Area, Greater Mwiba Wildlife Protected Area, Serengeti, lodge landing sites, terrain, weather patterns and wildlife area operating considerations and limitations.
How is the helicopter maintained?
The helicopter is maintained under an Airbus approved maintenance program based on manufacturer requirements and applicable civil aviation regulations.
What insurance is in place?
The helicopter is covered by comprehensive aviation insurance covering its operations, including passenger and third-party liability coverage. A copy of the insurance policy is available for inspection.
What happens in case of weather, safety concerns or operational disruption?
Safety always takes priority. Every helicopter flight is subject to operational and weather considerations. If weather or operational conditions require a delay, guests will be updated.

If conditions do not meet the required safety standards, the flight will be delayed, rescheduled or canceled.
What safety briefing and passenger restrictions apply?
All passengers receive a safety briefing before the flight. Guests should advise in advance of any medical condition, mobility limitation, pregnancy or other factor that may affect their ability to board, fly safely or respond to crew instructions.

Final passenger acceptance remains subject to Level Up’s operating procedures and the discretion of the Pilot-in-Command’s safety protocols.
Is the offer available at certain times of the year?
The offer is available throughout the year, subject to weather and operational considerations.
What is the validity period of the offer?
This offer is valid from August 1, 2026 through to December 31, 2027.

Terms & Conditions

Complimentary helicopter flights may be operated on a shared basis.

The helicopter accommodates a total of 5 passengers.

Complimentary helicopter excursions are offered once per booking and are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash or any other service.

Flights are subject to aircraft availability, weather conditions, operational considerations and pilot’s discretion.

All flights are operated by Level Up Aviation Limited in accordance with Tanzanian Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) regulations.

Flight routes, duration and landing locations may be adjusted or canceled for operational or safety reasons.

Guests must comply with all safety instructions and passenger requirements provided before departure.

Standard luggage allowance is one soft bag per guest, with a maximum weight of 15 kg where applicable.

Additional passenger weight and luggage restrictions may apply in accordance with aircraft operating limitations.

Auberge Safari reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this offer at any time.
