Collegio alla Querce is developing an education and community engagement program rooted in its heritage as a former boarding school. In partnership with Bocconi University, EHL Hospitality Business School and Istituto Saffi, the hotel hosts keynote speaking engagements, lessons and field visits, providing students with direct exposure to the hospitality industry. The hotel also works with Angeli del Bello on environmental initiatives, including the clean-up of the Mugnone river area and upcoming projects at the Giardino delle Rose. In 2026, Collegio alla Querce launched a collaboration with Trisomia 21, supporting the organization through charitable employee gifting and dedicated events, while also promoting blood donation initiatives with AVIS.

We strive to create exceptional experiences that enrich the lives of our guests, our team members and the community at large. As part of these efforts, Collegio alla Querce draws on its heritage as a former boarding school to champion education, mentorship and community engagement within Florence. In partnership with leading universities and schools, including Bocconi University, EHL Hospitality Business School and Istituto Saffi, the hotel hosts keynote speaking engagements, lessons, workshops and field visits. Additional academic partnerships will continue to be developed as part of this long-term focus. Collegio alla Querce also supports local organizations through ongoing community initiatives. In collaboration with Angeli del Bello, the team participates in environmental and civic activities, including the clean-up of the Mugnone river area and upcoming projects at the Giardino delle Rose. The hotel has also partnered with Trisomia 21, a Florence-based association supporting individuals with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities and their families. In addition, Collegio alla Querce promotes community well-being through collaboration with AVIS, encouraging blood donation initiatives among team members.     Angeli del Bello

    Angeli del Bello is a Florence-based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the city’s cultural and environmental heritage through active community participation. Bringing together citizens, institutions and local partners, the organization promotes a shared sense of responsibility for the care of Florence’s public spaces. Its activities include neighborhood clean-up initiatives, maintenance of parks and historic gardens, restoration of urban elements and educational programs that encourage sustainable behavior and civic awareness. These efforts play a key role in safeguarding the identity and beauty of Florence.
