Leather and velvet, stone and wood—the Mars room is named for the god of war, but you’ll find a profound sense of harmony comes with these natural materials. This room is charming in its simplicity which is punctuated by an ancient window with a view onto the garden that brings a bit of nature indoors. The wooden-beamed roof and stone walls are paired with a bed so comfortable you might find yourself taking multiple naps, while the bathroom, complete with tub, has two sinks and a bathtub. The shape of the unexpectedly modern light fixtures echoes the quiver of arrows Mars might take to battle, but the warmth and comfort of this space encourage a tendency towards peace instead.
